Feeling today a little obligation to the blog- whenever I am most busy it seems the bloggy blog sits patiently and yet somehow as news turns to olds a bit of a quandry presents itself.... this spot is mostly a diary and moving forward without addressing the passings nows feels like a lie and a cheat to myself looking back and thinking perhaps I didn't really have all that much fun. Er, ok, I can have fun with a can of beans, but you see what I mean...also I don't think I can be productive without this little ritual I've got going. Blah blah blah.

While scoping out the future site of much tessellated plastic I decided to join the throngs of photographers already doing the same and snap a quickie of my super cute amigas in stripes.

Afternoon reconnaissance mission to the comforts of the corner seat in the Verb Cafe equipped with Miss Whitney Moon's portable slide projector and pieces of Omar Barcena + Lizbeth Gonzales's Paris and Parisianesque Installation at the Cal Poly Architecture Building. Mon coeur, je manques Paris- but I know I cannot visit and be an outsider. These two magic makers came back to the loft with hibiscus flowers and four varieties of dried peppers to fatten us up with some proper Mexican food this California girl had never even heard of... our kitchen still smells so savory. We can't wait for them to move here.

Another chap with another loft in Williamsburg was already genius enough to open it up (staging monthly installations wherein 24 people sit on low cushions in a square formation surrounded by huge video screen walls .... synched to improv music ..... satiated by impressive culinary delights)....but this time he put himself on the line with special brownies and I'm gonna have to write him a thank you note for all the pretense free beautiful conversation it opened up... Omar + Lizbeth added that I'm going to have to see Midnight Cowboy for full effect...oh, this pict is me thinking looking serious with glasses and Christina blowing my cover eating my sweater with words from the screen behind lofting by.

They deliver. They really do. But that's a rather expensive option (your obviously paying for the packaging and marketing materials).
