Just discovered a kindred spirit! (my initial proposal for Ridgewood Times Bldg last spring on left, his LED installation in Mex City on right) Thomas Glassford is another recovering architect turned artist.

He recently unveiled this awesome permanent installation of Penrose non-repeating patterns (my patterns courtesy Eric Gjerde) across the marbled facade of Plaza de las Tres Culturas in Tlatelolco. The site is historically charged, his response elegant.
