Working on a new series of tiny books called "The Choir". They measure roughly 3/4" x 1" and organized into different themes, I picture them arranged across tiny podiums, waiting for someone to make them come alive.



My karaoke bar Baby Grand generates dozens of song cards from impromptu heart-felt performances every night. My patrons step outside their comfort zone and take the stage for roughly three minutes at a time and share collected musical memories with a full range of emotions- humor, nostalgia, celebration, love and of course heartbreak. Each song is a story elaborated on by what each performer brings with him/her.

This series aims to capture the traces of these beautifully human moments.
